good food, not my personal favorite pizza ever but it is really good. the herb fries they make are good too

Very good restaurant, wasn't sure what to expect outside of the city since I don't come up here very often except to visit. The pizza was thin and crispy and tasted great.

good sports bar to come to, plus they have really good food. try the garlic herb fries and the cheese curds. Pizza is good tii.

Great pizza, love this place and not very far from home. better than any Lincolnwood pizza I've had.

I'm a student at Northwestern but from the area and Candlelite is AWESOME!!!!!!

Love coming here but its a bit of a drive for me. If I know I will be in the area though I usually try to stop in or take something home for carry-out. The pizza is good and Gurnee doesn't have any good independent places, just chains like Pizza Hut and Dominos and Papa John's.

Love coming here to watch the Chicago Blackhawks! They had a good 2011 playoff run, I watched a couple games here, there was a good crowd but not uncomfortablly crowded. They have good appetizers, I usually get them with a beer. My wide likes the organic vodka they have. I like the Gumballhead beer and Blue Moon too. Garlic herb fries are great, best with feta cheese though added.

Best damn thin crust pizza in Chicago, and I'm not kidding. I like it because they are always consistent and it's good every time. Never over cooks or dry or bad. I like their spinach pizza and sometimes I get garlic or pepperoni thin crust. The wraps are good too. Gotta get the garlic herb fries and do the Facebook check-in thingie to get them free. We'll be back!

Good bar, I like to come here fairly often to watch games on the flat screens and have a drink and some food maybe. Only gave it four stars cause I've been to better places in my life so it was hard to give it the best rating possible, but it is great and the pizza is good and not like bar food thats crappy. The bartender was very attentive. Good pulled pork sandwich too.

Excellent food, one of the best sports bars in chicago in my opinion. I come here often for food, mostly their thin crust pizza. Good family friendly atmosphere so I don't mind bringing the kids on 2 for 1 pizza Tuesdays. It's consistently good which I like cause I hate when I go somewhere that I like and get disappointed. Definitely would recommend to anyone to go here. Good place for parties too.

Really good food, would of gave five stars but they were out of my favorite beer, Three Floyd's Gumballhead! They usually have it but I know it goes quick there and Three Floyds only gives them a limited amount. I love the pizza!!!! best thin crust AND ITS NOT LIKE REGULAR BAR PIZZA, IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD!!!!!!

Loved the pulled pork, had a good time with the kids and would definitely come back here. I drove from Oak Park to get pizza here and ended up with good pulled pork though.

Always a great time at the Candlelite. Great beer and the best thin crust pizza pie in Chicago. If you haven't had it, come try it. They also do Facebook Places and Foursquare check-in specials where you get free garlic herb fries with your pizza purchase. I'll definitely keep coming again as I have for years. Love watching Northwestern University and Blackhawks games here!

The pizza was really good, a lot better than I expected! The garlic fries were also good, the ambience is nice and the service was good. No complaints! Best thin crust pizza I've had too. Wasn't like frozen stuff.

One of the best Chicago sports bars on the north side of Chicago. Love this place, great food, and the menu is big. Doesn't taste like bar food, it's actually really good.

Mmm pulled pork burger! Awesome as usual! I usually get the pizza but the burgers are really good too and I wanted pork!! Love the tater tots that come with it too! And they serve Three Floyds Gumballhead which is AWESOMEEE!!!!

Absolutely love this place! It is definitely worth stopping at whenever I find myself in the area (or can give myself an excuse to come to the area). It's for sure the best thin crust pizza in Chicago, or at least I thought so. The garlic herb fries with the feta cheese were awesome, and Pat the bartender and manager is very socialable and a pleasure to chat with. Good sports bar, yet great family restaurant too. Great for all ages.
